RED BALL CLASSES

Kid Sized Tennis              Giant Sized Fun

Join The 10 and Under Tennis Craze

For children ages 4-8 we bring giant sized fun and learning to kid sized courts.  Other sports don't ask kids to play an adult game and no longer does tennis.

With courts, and equipment just right for their age kids get a game built just for them

Tennis ABCs

ABC Agility, Balance and Coordination

This is the perfect start to prepare your 4-6 year old child for our 10 and Under programs.

In this class, children learn through play, having fun and developing active habits.  The foundation for future game play is set by learning to control objects in a given space with their body and racquet. Students work on sending/receiving balls, coordination and balance, and racquet control.  Movement skills, including running, shuffling, throwing and jumping are also taught.

The class is 30 minutes long, and children should have their own 19 or 21 inch racquet.  Classes are capped at a 6:1 student to instructor ratio.

Red 1

Red Level 1 is our first stage class for 5-8 year olds just starting out in our 10 and Under programs.

Using larger and softer balls and a smaller court, kids begin to learn the basics of tennis including stroke production, footwork and cooperative play through games and drills designed to promote early success. The class introduces students to all parts of the game and is designed to prepare them for Red II, where they will utilize the skills developed in this class.

After 1-2 sessions of this class, or with previous experience, most students are ready for the challenge of Red II, although some will feel more comfortable with extra sessions of this class.

The class is 45 minutes long, and children should have their own 21 or 23 inch racquet. Classes are capped at a 7:1 student to instructor ratio.

Red 2

Red Level 2 is our second stage class for 5-8 year olds in 10 and Under Tennis.

Using larger and softer balls and a smaller court, kids continue to practice the basics of tennis including stroke production, footwork and cooperative play through games and drills that they learned in Red I.  The class introduces students to all parts of the game and is designed to prepare them to begin to play assisted matches at the next level.
